Hi, today I am going to tell you why you need a monopod. A monopod is a tripod that has one leg instead of 3 legs. Monopods are very good, because of it's portability and space efficiency. You would need a tripod in a lot of circumstances. If you are at a public event, that has tons of people, you will need a space efficient semi tripod to keep your shoots steady.
