Canon seems to be copying or getting ideas from Magic Lantern.

When Canon first released the Canon 5D Mark II in the market, Magic Lantern released the first released the first independent firmware for this particular DSLR, it pointed out a lot of errors and non user friendly video settings for the camera.

Now with the new DSLR's like the Canon 5D Mark III and the ID Mark X , Canon seems to be copying or getting ideas for some features from the Magic Lantern firmware releases. I think Magic Lantern knows that they pointed out some errors and features missed from the Canon firmware from the early release.

My point is that Magic Lantern helped Canon release firmware updates for these cameras, that fixed bugs, and features, that are well needed for the video feature for DSLR's that shoot video. Canon should acknowledge Magic Lantern for working on the firmware. Canon should hire the guys that make the firmware and make better firmware updates for these DSLR's. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.
