My computer is getting obsolete.

My computer is a imac that is almost 3 years old. I have a imac 27 inch with intel core 2 duo and it it not as fast as the other imac's now but I guess it does the job. I always wanted a computer that is my own to be really fast because I work with heavy applications that demands more ram and a lot more stuff. Everything about the new imacs are fast and I think new ones are coming out. I am going to have a really nice computer when I grow up or even build myself one.
