Blaise Aguera Arcas demos Photosynth

Hello everybody this is 2cool4games here and today I am going to talk about Photosynth. Photosynth is a program that you can zoom into pictures and not loose quality. It's powered by Sea Dragon and it's in a square? A square that holds tons of pictures. You can shuffle the pictures. ( www.photosynth.com) is a website that's actually live and they take pictures from google and flicker they can make all the images they picked out into one single photo out of 100 photos. Here's my notes I took on the video. 1. New technology called Sea Dragon was brought to Microsoft two years ago.
2. You can zoom in the picture really good and you won’t loose all the good pixels. So you can see little words on the pages. It’s a square with tons of pictures in it and you can arrange them and have fun.
3. You can also use mapping and zoom in on the roads so you can figure out where you are.
4. Another other picture program is Photosynth.
5. Photosynth is powered by Sea Dragon
6. They can put pictures together so they can make a whole picture. Just from flickr.com.
7. Photosynth can take everything from the social environment and put it in one Picture.

Ken Robinson says schools kil creativity.

Hello everybody this is 2cool4games and today I am going to talk about School kills creativity do you know why schools kills creativity? You will figure that out in about 2 minutes. I know that all kids have tremendous talent in creativity, And when they grow up they will use all that creativity because they were strained at school and you can't make mistakes because they think that's a bad thing. The teacher in every classroom should say that they are doing all right, if the child try's in the classroom the teacher better say that's okay everybody makes mistakes. These day Public education is based on training people for industrial jobs, in the order of making industrial jobs we need creativity or it won't be that much jobs. It's the new generation and we have to make changes or everything is going to be the same! No jobs no money. Intelligence is very dynamic because you can do different things with your skills and you can make new skills with your intelligence. Just remember that public education was created in the 1900's so it's not that old.

Farm-Raised Fish.

Hello everybody this is 2cool4games here and today I am going to talk about farm-raised fish. On one of the better fish harms,35 percent of the fish food was chicken pellets to get their protein. That is not good because vegetarians don't want chicken inside their fish because that's called eating meat. That's the reason the fish may taste like chicken. Fish that eat algae and other real fish food taste better. Today they can squeeze 40000 fish inside the tank when they are small then they put them in a bigger tank when they are bigger then they cut some of the fat out of the fish and put it in a can or a jar. Then it go's to supermarkets, everybody buys fish at least most of the time. I am not saying farm-raised fish isn't a good thing I am just telling you what they do to farm-raised fish. Some farm-raised fish don't be cramped in other countries they have rivers so they can swim until they are bigger.

Gary Lauder's new traffic sign: Take Turns.

Hello everybody this is 2cool4games here today I am going to talk about traffic signs and the Environment. Here's what he said. 1. Energy Efficiency:
It’s not just about the car
Road design makes a difference
Particularly intersections
-2 types:
-Signalized
-Unsignalized ( Stop signs)
2. Traffic Lights VS. Roundabouts.

A study of 24 intersections converted to roundabouts found:
- Crashes dropped 40%
- Injury crashes dropped 76%
- Fatal crashes dropped 90%
3. Unsignalized Intersections
Stop signs save many lives, but excessive proliferation
Small roundabouts starting to appear.
4. Time = Money

10 Seconds of delay x 3.000 cars
=8.3/day/stop sign
x $20/ hour( Average wage)
= $167 / day of lost time for that stop sign
=$60.875 /year
+ $51.363 gas costs= $ 112,238/ year for that sign
PV of that annuity discounted @ 5% = $2,244,766!!!
5. Stop sign invented in 1915
Yield sign invented in 1950
That’s all we got
6. A yield sign means that you must yield the right of way
- if there are 5 cars waiting. You’ll be the 6th
it lacks the notion of alternating ( taking turns)
Always on the minor road entering the major one.
7. The world needs a new type of sign.
Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

No excuses

I was watching videos on youtube and I watched no excuses by Wayne Dwyer and it was very interesting. Here's the notes I took. Excuses Begone!

You can change anything about yourself.

--Never underestimate the power to change yourself.

When you correct your mind, everything falls into place.

Because you’ve lived with a habit for a very long time, is not a reason for it to take a very long time to change.

All that we are is founded on our thoughts.
--change those thoughts

1. Awareness
Think in terms of “all things are possible”
“I can handle this”
“I am not alone”
“I can get through this”

2. Alignment

3. Contemplation
Put into practice a way of acting.
Thoughts are the start of bringing things into your life.
Sets into motion all creative forces of the universe.
Contemplate what you intend to manifest.
Detach yourself from the outcome.

4. Willingness
Suspending all of your blame.
Surrendering—let go
Arrange whatever pieces come your way and make it work for you.

5. Passion
Create the habit of enthusiasm.
Even if you don’t have hands, you can still be a drummer.

6. Ask yourself : is it true?
Don’t believe everything you think.
Can you be 100% certain that what you are thinking is true?
If you have two choices, pick the choice that will lead you to what you want.

7. Where do all the excuses come from? They come from you.
Be responsible for your excuses.

8. What are the payoffs?

9. What would my life look like if I couldn’t use these excuses?
You would feel free.
Go to the place within you where you see what you would like to be.
Go to the feeling of how you would feel.—I feel great.
Free of fear.
The last 5 minutes of the day, think about good things that you want.

10. Can I create a rational reason to change?
-Must be doable and make sense.

11. You have to affirm your life each day.

I have the ability to accomplish any task I set my mind to with ease and comfort.

Being myself involves no risks. It’s my ultimate truth and I live fearlessly.

I have infinite patience when it comes to fulfilling my destiny.

I’d rather be loathed for who I am than loved for who I am not.

I am a divine creation, a piece of God. How could I be undeserving?

My essential nature is perfect and faultless. It is to this nature that I return.

I am connect to an unlimited source of abundance.

The right circumstances and the right people are already here and will show up on time.

I am open and willing to attract all that I desire, beginning here and now.

I have access to umlimited assistance. My strength comes from my connections to my source.

I am a creation of the divine mind, all is perfect and I am a genius in my own right.

I am an infinite being, the age of my body has no bearing on what I do or who I am.

I live my life according to divine rules.

I think only about what I can do now. By thinking small, I accomplish great things.
I hope you like this blog entry.
