Adobe Premiere Pro is very cool.

There are so many things, that you can do with Adobe Premiere Pro. They have really nice tools, like razor blade that can split your clips into multiple clips, and that's very useful. This is kind of like imovie, but you have more options. More options, means the more time you need to edit your clips. The more options are endless, and it will take tons of time to learn Premiere Pro. This program is totally worth learning, because this program is badass. Just don't edit off your USB, it will crash Premiere Pro, and you might lose your project, if you didn't save. Also you have to learn After Effects also, if you want to be a master at Premiere Pro, because After Effects and Premiere Pro work together to make a masterpiece. I also learned how to put colorgrades on multiple clips, you just copy and past the fire colorgrade, and then paste to another clip, and colorgrade it a little bit more for each clip. It took 6 hours to work on my short film, and it ended up to be 2.22 seconds. It might be a little bit more, or a little bit less, because this is not done yet. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

Why music drives your emotions.

Today, I am going to tell you why music drives your emotions. So many people listens to music on their ipod or another mp3 device, and every song they choose, tells their emotion status. I listen to a lot of dubstep and a lot of techie songs. Every song tells my emotional status, and also drives your emotions, because music is the most powerful sound on earth that controls your emotions. Music is dynamic, and a lot of people choose their songs by emotional status, my sister likes emotional songs, because she is overly emotional. Mine are happy and straight to the point songs, and that's my emotional status right now, if you listen to emotional songs when you are tired, you are most likely depressed, and makes you want to kill someone. I don't really understand how people work, but I know that music really drives emotion. We do pick songs, from our emotional status, and it's not a bad thing to listen to boring dramatic songs, because it depends on your mood. When people go to jail for selling suppressors to people, most judges don't know that silencers are still very loud. Movies had also corrupted our minds with falseness, and the twisted truth. Our creativity is corrupting our own minds. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

The mistakes I learned on my first short film.

Me, and my actors, made quite a bit of mistakes. I also made quite a bit of mistakes, but I made my first short film, I learned tons of mistakes had made. The mistakes that I made, is adjusting the cameras settings while recording, talked while recording, and some of my video is overexposed. This is very disappointing to me, to see all the mistakes I made, but I know I learned from my mistakes, and I will improve in the future. Also my dad, talked to the other actor, while recording. I could've got more angles also, and it's very important to remember to get as much angles as you can. I also think, should've not zoomed out while recording my footage. I should've left the zoom be while recording. Also I noticed that the Canon batteries last for tons of time. I recorded for about 3 hours, and no battery change needed, and I still had 20% percent of my battery. That's totally great, because when you are using another battery, you can charge your second battery while your recording, and when your battery is done, your second battery will be charged. I think the final project will turn out okay.

Skullcandy ink'd headphones a bargain.

Skullcandy headphones are a bargain, and they have very good sound quality. I bought my Skullcandy ink'd headphones, at target for 13.95, and it's worth every cent. People complain that it breaks, because people don't know how to take care of stuff. My older Skullcandy ink'd headphones that someone took, lasted for a year. I did use it quite a lot, and most people just don't know how to fold their headphones, and put them in a safe place. My headphones only broke, if someone else used them. I was also thinking of getting Skullcandy Titans, but I needed headphones fast. I didn't even have one pair, because family members take my headphones, and hoard them until they break. It's kind of a sad thing to think about, someone it going to break your objects in your room, that you payed for. The sound quality is very nice, for the price. It's around 10 dollars online, and $14 dollars on sale at target. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

Why I like tea better than coffee

Coffee is okay, but I really like tea. The only coffee I like, is Vietnamese iced coffee at the Vietnamese restaurant. I like tea for many reasons. The reasons are, it has less caffeine, less harshness to your stomach, and you can drink more of it. When I first drank two cups of coffee in a row, it made me want strangle something, when I drank two cups of coffee. The only cure I found, is water after the coffee. With tea, you always get a nice soothing drink, I am not saying that all teas are good, but most of the teas are not so strong as coffee and doesn't give you a stomach ache. Tea also does has 25-50% percent less caffeine, that means that you can drink more tea than coffee. Also it's very economical for the environment, because when you need coffee, and you need a coffee filter, we most likely only use it once. Tea bags can be used multiple times, and also the tea bags are lighter than coffee, and requires less fossil fuels to ship and process. Tea is also a very good stress reliever, and every cup your drink, the better your stress level gets. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

I uploaded images of the LP-E6 to Amazon.

Today, I uploaded images of my LP-E6 battery "Made In China". These batteries are authentic, and it's misleading to look at, old images of the older LP-E6 battery. I think that they are making batteries in China, because they want to save money, and trying to get rid of counterfeit batteries. This is important for people like me, to know if your stuff is real or not. That's why I uploaded the updated battery model onto Amazon.com. It's very misleading, that Canon's website doesn't have this model on their counterfeit website. Most people want to know if your stuff is real or fake and nothing else, they should put that on their counterfeit information website. Here's some images of the battery.

If it charges to 100%, has a stamp with date, and the package has a hologram, the battery is authentic if you got all these things. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

I like ipod shuffle better than ipod nano 6g.

The only reason I got the ipod nano 6g, because I won it on bethebeat.org. They did change their website, and they are not releasing ipods to the public anymore. I like the ipod shuffle more, because it has buttons, and buttons are very important. It also has very good battery life, 2 times better than ipod nano 6g. The only problem is that, the ipod shuffle models only come with 2GB of memory. That's kind of a drag. I only need one playlist personally, and it only takes 780MB out of 2GB. It's smaller and it clips on more smaller objects. It has voice over that really works, rather than the crap on the ipod nano 6g. Also switching your songs is very fast on the shuffle, because you don't have to double click your hold button to flip a song without using that screen. I really think that all things, don't need screens on it all the time. Sometimes simple and plain makes it win. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

Buy lots of memory cards.

Hi everybody. I am going to tell you why you need to buy lots of memory cards, and tell you what type of memory card you need for your camera. For my camera, I need CF cards, and it cost a fortune for a memory card. My CF card that has 32GB or memory, was $121 dollars on Amazon! It did cost tons of money, and I advise you to buy two 16GB memory cards if you are recording video, on your DSLR. 2 CF cards are good, because if you need to lend your camera to your friend, your friend can use your other card. Also make sure you have have a fast card, that goes 60MB or 90MB, the faster the better. Right now I am using a Lexar 600x 32GB card, and it runs very fast. Also if you get a fast card, the faster the import takes for your computer. If you don't get a fast card, your video will turn out just wrong, and everything will be a slow process to download photos to your computer. Always buy a card from a good brand like Lexar and Sandisk. Transcend is a okay brand also, but kind of unreliable.

Canon LP-E6 batteries made in China.

I think, that Canon is making batteries in China, and I think it's cheaper, but it confuses people that bought Canon batteries a couple years ago. I know that my batteries are not fake, because my battery that came with my Canon 5D Mark II registers and has 100% battery life, and I bought another one that looks and works the same. This is a very interesting subject, because they have tons of Official Canon batteries that are made in China. It used to say, made in japan, and further processed in China. I really think that people should know that Canon is making batteries that are labeled made in China now, because I think people thought that it would help the counterfeit issue. I also think it really confuses people, that the batteries are made in China, instead of having a label that says, Made in Japan...If your battery goes to 100% on the battery, and you new battery has a hologram that changes color, and makes designs, you are totally okay. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

Mac vs PC...Which one to choose?

These are very different breeds of operating systems, and systems. Both are very good but and both have really bad stuff about them. It's like Nikon Vs Canon, and it's very hard to choose, but for me it's a easy decision. I am going to talk about the differences in the performance, programs, E.T.C

The performance

I really think that PC has the edge on performance, because you can make a custom rig and it can be god all mighty. Also mac doesn't give a standard 8GB for a $1800-and over, that is very stupid. They also want to make you pay for $600 dollars for 16GB of ram that cost only $100 dollars in the modern market. I also think that more applications on PC run faster than Mac, like third party browsers, and other programs like older Adobe Programs because most people have PC's than Mac. Overall PC's win on the performance.

The programs

This is a very big issue with Macs, the programs. Most of the free programs for mac, is absolute rubbish. Also Apple is trying to push their Apple programs in your face, like itunes. The program itunes is a very expensive program that works natively on Mac. This is why so much people buy music on itunes, because it's so easy that they push everything down your throat and it makes you puke. Also a lot of the keyboard shortcuts are messed up on the Mac, because of the dashboard buttons, E.T.C. You can install the Windows operating system, but for gaming you will need certain drivers, and it's very hard to find drivers for gaming on a Mac. I really wished that Apple fixed the issue's with driver problems. PC wins on this also.

The simplicity

Steve Jobs once said, that the Mac is a lot easier to use, than PC. This is not the truth in most cases. Personally my mom thinks that using a PC it's tons easier for finding documents and programs. I think in this case PC is better, organizing your documents on Mac is a living hell. When you are trying to find something in one folder, it searches the whole computer! This is a hug deal to people like me, that we named it something weird. The only thing I like about the organizing system is, the color for organizing documents. Also you have it's really stupid that you can't open a new finder window, when you are doing something else on the main finder window. You only can use one at a time...PC wins on this one also.

Overall PC wins, but the Mac is a very stable operating system, that would most likely not crash on you. Also it doesn't get as much viruses as the PC does but you can get a really nice virus software for that issue...so that's not a huge problem. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

Making a 2 minute short story

I had joined a class, and I am writing a 2 minute script. That is about 2 pages for 2 minutes, you can also make the timing faster and get rid of stuff. I really don't want to get into details, because I think it's good enough for someone that can steal my idea. It's kind of a political thing that most people know about.

I am currently working on my ideas for my script/story, this is kind of a challenge, because I have to fit all this stuff into 2 minutes. It just has to be, a really fast paced kind of video, I kind of really wanted to use my DSLR to record, but I am using theirs..That's okay to me. It's not the camera that counts, it's the skills. I am learning the skills, that I need in my future, because this is going to be part of my profession. This is a really great skill to have, to make a good short film in 2 minutes or less! This is going to be a very fun project and I hope you luck if you are writing a short film or something. Thank you for reading my blog and have day.

Learning how to use Premiere Pro CS4

Premiere Pro is a kind of simple program to understand. It's kind of like imovie, but Premiere has a lot more features. I am still learning the basics, like important and exporting to the right settings, but this seems like a program to put clips together. Then After Effects does a lot of the effects and titles, and then you have a finished product. I do see myself using Premiere when I use my DSLR to shoot video, but sometimes the imovie workflow works better than the Adobe programs for me. When I do events, I will record in 720P with my flip camera...Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

Compressing my first file with MPEG StreamClip

When I first used MPEG StreamClip, I was a bit nervous about how the quality will turn out at the end. I did this, because when you are editing raw H.264 data, it doesn't work that well for your editing flow. When I got done using MPEG StreamClip, I was really impressed that this free program done such a fast a good job. When it was done, I imported a clip into After Effects and scrubbing through the video was a breeze..Download it if you need to compress your footage from H.264 to save workflow time. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

Why you should always have a spare battery.

You should always have a spare battery while you are using your camera. Many times I didn't bring a external battery and the camera battery run's out. The only option at the time, with my flip camera that didn't have any external batteries for me camera. What I used to do, is to bring an other camera with you. If you don't get the shot you are screwed. My situation changed, because I got a DSLR that you can buy more batteries for the device. More batteries means more battery life, and you always want 2 or more batteries. I am saving up for a 1.4 50mm lens right now, and I have 2 Canon LP-E6 batteries that are enough for about 1 hour and 20 minutes of footage, with the I-S lens. It would be nice to have 4 batteries, that a good estimate on how much batteries you need. If you run it down maybe you can get more battery life out of your batteries. Also a little tip of the day, when you are recording with a DSLR, try to be as discreet as possible, while you are recording at a museum or something. I should bring my mic to the museum and just say, oh I gave the mic to my dad, can I just take pictures now....That's what I am going to do...Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

I got Action Essentials 2 (2K version)

I recently got Action Essentials 2, the 2K version, and I am super excited! This means that I can do cool effects like gun fire or smoke. They have tons of effects to choose from, and you can mix and match tons of stuff until you get the right result. I am currently learning After Effects, and shooting video. I noticed that it's going to take a while for the right result. I only had my camera for about 2 months, and that's not enough time to be a master at shooting video. The thing I noticed is, that you need a LCD viewfinder and a DIY shoulder mount. I think the LCD viewfinder is very important if you care what stuff is in focus or not. The shoulder mount is used for stabilizing your camera so it won't have that much jitter while you are recording. Also you will need a tripod to keep your camera as steady as possible. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

What you need to make videos outside with your DSLR.

Why you really need, is a really good viewfinder for your LCD. When you shoot outside, and it's sunny, you will need a viewfinder so you can see what your doing. Also you need something to stabilize the camera, to keep it from shaking for video. If you need a little bit of camera shake, you will need a shoulder mount. You can make a DIY shoulder mount for about $40 dollars, and it will be easy to make. Also have a nice amount of memory in your camera, so you don't have to worry about the space on your CF card all the time. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

Apple is going down hill.

Recently, a new update came to Lion and Snow Leopard users. The update did outrageous things like now PowerPC support for Snow Leopard! Apple doesn't understand that people want to keep their old programs, and if they got back PowerPC support, tons of people would upgrade to Lion. The only bad this is, Lion is just a absolute mess. Lion is like a stupid beta to me, and it's always going to be a beta, all this stupid stuff wants me to build a cheaper gaming PC. Ton's of people love PC's, and Windows 7 is a very good operating system. Apple should've knew better not to get rid of PowerPC, and they are now paying the price for their mistakes. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

The more practice the better.

I am still new to DSLR's, but I know I am destined to figure the DSLR out sooner than later. This week I noticed, the most important investment is not your camera, it's the lenses. The lenses you can you over and over again. I should really save up for all lenses, and that should be on my list. Now it's on my list on top, and it's never going to move. I just have to keep practicing to get better and my cinematography work. I should also, use After Effects and Premiere pro, because people said both programs are different breeds. I have a feeling that Premiere pro is going to get easier to get used to, but the setup worries me a lot. I just have to look up the settings, and just watch tutorials people setting up Premiere with their DSLR footage. A 50mm 1.4 is on my list, and I am going to get it as soon as I can, and nobody is going to stop me except myself. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.

Saving up for a Canon 50mm 1.4

This is a great lens to have in your collection, and you will not regret this purchase. I am currently saving up for this lens, and it will take a while. I did have $120 dollars, but I am building a DIY shoulder mount rig for $50 dollars. This lens is very good for low light situations and ultra nice Bokeh. I would be using this lens at night, and indoors. It's always good to have a fast lens so you don't have to raise your ISO up, a higher ISO can create a lot of noise. The highest I go, during the day with my Canon 24-105mm lens is 1250 ISO for video and taking photos. The f-stop for my Canon 24-105mm lens is 4, and the 50mm lens I am going to get, is f/1.4! That's a major improvement for low light situations, because you don't have to raise the ISO all the time. Ive heard that the auto focus goes out, but most of the time I won't need to use auto focus. The price of the lens I want, is $350 dollars, and it's really good investment to get this lens. The whole point of getting DSLR's, is the selection of lenses. The most lenses you have right now, the more you have in the future, and you can use it later. That's the best part of lenses, using it in the future. Thank you for reading my blog and have a nice day.
